Along with your golf clubs, there's no need to pack your gold prospecting
pan when playing Prospect Lake. What you're likely to find is a real gem!
This challenging nine-hole layout will test your shot making. The fairways
are tight, the greens small and the surrounding scenery lush and inviting.
The signature hole of Prospect Lake is worth your time playing the course.
The par three 6th is only 130 yards, but there's the small matter of a
lake that could get in the way. First in making your walk to the tee,
don't be surprised if someone in your group questions, " Where the
heck are we going?" Make the climb to the elevated tee and you'll
see the challenge ahead.
Prospect Lake (with a good stock of small mouth bass) awaits not your
fishing lure, rather a miss-hit shot will lure your ball into it's watery
grave. Hit the green on your first shot on this hole and remember to fully
explain to your golfing partners how you did it. (I'm sure they'd each
like to know)
